About the Embroidery Process
When you entrust me with a chainstitch embroidery project, I embark on a meticulous process using a method dating back to the late 19th century. Embroidery today is computerized, and mass produced. The work done on these vintage machines is done by hand; each thread color loaded and prepared and each stitch guided by hand. Throughout the process, I maintain a key eye for detail, adjusting stitch length and tension as needed to produce your custom piece. The result is a unique piece that can never be perfectly replicated!
